Our 18x8 Ultrex RS wheel has been a favourite with the Subaru community since 2008. Priced at an incredible $799 for a set of 4 wheels, these wheels are manufactured for Subaru models that have limited space in the guards. So, these wheels are perfect for Subaru Gc8s – including the Impreza, WRX and STI. Also, a favourite with Subaru Liberty owners, Forester owners and BRZ owners. The classic timeless design always looks fantastic on every model. Another key benefit is that the RS wheel clears Brembo brakes, so its future proof if you are looking at upsizing your brakes down the track. This wheel is produced in a dual 100/114.3 pcd with a +42 offset so it fits all Subaru models. The Ultrex RS is also very light weight, tipping the scales at around 9.2KG. Because of its light weight, it’s a popular choice for many race and tarmac rally cars as it is very strong, light weight and looks amazing!

In 2015 we introduced the Ultrex Matrix in 18x8 and 18x9 sizing. 18x8 is perfect again for Subaru Gc8s – including the Impreza, WRX and STI. Also a favourite with Subaru Liberty owners, Forester owners and BRZ owners. This wheel is produced in a dual 100/114.3 pcd with a +42 offset. Priced at an incredible $799 for a set of 4 wheels, this wheel also clears brembo brakes.

The Ultrex Matrix in 18x9 sizing is preferred by Subaru owners chasing a wide wheel  - perfect for Subaru BRZ / GT86 and Subaru WRX MY11+. This wheel is produced in a dual 100/114.3 pcd with a +40 offset. Priced at an incredible $799 for a set of 4 wheels, this wheel does not clear brembos in 18x9 so is not suitable for STI models with Brembo brakes or Liberty STI models. But is perfect for WRX MY11+ models and the BRZ / Toyota GT86.

The last wheel in the range is the newly released Ultrex Cobra. Priced at an incredible $799 for a set of 4 rims, this wheel is available in 18x8.5 and 18x9.5. Both sizes will clear Brembo brakes and is supplied in a dual 100/114.3 pcd with a +40 offset - so it will fit all Subaru models including the WRX & STI models.

We recommend the 18x8.5 wheel for WRX and STI MY01-10 models, Foresters MY03+ and BRZ’s.

The widest wheel we sell is the Cobra 18x9.5inch. This wheel looks superb on any car you can get it to fit on. It will bolt straight up on any MY11+ WRX & STI. Fitment is perfect and it will fill the guards nicely without the issues that some overly aggressive offset wheels can introduce.

We often get asked if a 9.5 inch rim will fit on a MY01-07 WRX. Our answer is always based on what we do with our cars. Whilst a MY01-07 WRX or STI can look super mean with a 9.5 inch wheel, it will introduce a range of issues to get it to fit. You will need to roll the guards and add camber (coilovers required). So our advice is, you can pretty much get any super fat rim to fit any car – however the headache and work required to get it to fit means it may not be the best choice for the car and may detract from the way the car drives and handles. However, we understand that your car is your special project and you are always welcome to buy whatever wheels you like and mod your caryour way, but we just try to advise based on what’s a simple straight bolt on.
