Reviews
Specially for the 86/BRZ owners
By: Nikhil on 17 February 2023Okay this is for the BRZ 86 owners who are looking at buying these wheels, first you need coilovers otherwise the wheels wont fit, you will also need front camber bolts from Whiteline to tuck the front wheels inside as they poke very tiny amount (recommend the motorsport 3 degree option bolts), you can run 255 35 18 tyres at each corner given that you have all the above listed mods, the 255 tyres with 35 profile won't rub, you may not need rear adjustable lower control arms, I had bought the LCAs before and I ended up installing them during alignment and it worked well, definitely won't need rear adjustable toe arms unless you want a crazy looking setup. I have these wheels on my 86 AKA *BLOWN86* in the photos, and this review is purely to provide other 86 brz owners a guide, who can't decide on which size tyres they want to run and those who can't find much info about the tyre sizes for these rims. With these rims and 255 size tyres, no lights were on the dash, the speedo was 3kmph down so in 100zone it was 97, ride quality was so much better and car really feels more planted on the ground, much more confidence with the turns as well. Again with new wheel and tyre setup it's well worth getting a proper alignment from a Motorsport shop, won't recommend Bridgestone shops because their equipment size is a bit too big and it can damage these rims, Happy for others to reach out to me through ultrex if they have any questions or via insta @its_me_nik97 Cheers
